Department introduction

The Image Center of Zhejiang University Teaching Animal Hospital is one of the key departments integrating clinical diagnosis and treatment, teaching and scientific research. The imaging center has a comprehensive pool of technical talents in various high-value medium and large imaging equipment and imaging professional fields, and can provide efficient, reliable and diagnostic animal medical imaging services for the Yangtze River Delta, surrounding regions and even the whole country. At the same time, the Center adheres to the concept of discipline integration, constantly improves its professional ability and strengthens interdisciplinary cooperation, conducts interdisciplinary research with many scientific research institutions, and provides strong technical support for related research.

Personnel structure

There are 6 professional technicians in the department, including 3 with bachelor's degree, 2 with master's degree and 1 with doctor's degree. One deputy chief physician, three attending physicians and two technicians in charge.

The imaging center is equipped with a 64 row 128 layer computerized tomography system that meets the diagnostic requirements of the Grade III A hospital; 1 1.5T superconducting magnetic resonance imaging system; Yum! X7 ultra high-definition color ultrasound 1 set, portable ultrasonic imaging system 1 set; One digital DR imaging system for small animals and one portable movable DR imaging system for small animals; 1 dental imaging system for small animals; 1 set of endoscope for small animals; One laparoscope system for small animals. The above hardware is equipped with the latest operating system and post-processing software system synchronized with international professional fields, which can perform various medical imaging examinations on various parts of the animal body, with rapid and accurate imaging.

The staff of the Center have accumulated rich diagnostic experience in many years of clinical work. The image results are read one-to-one and cross reviewed by the well-trained professionals of the Center, who always attach equal importance to efficiency and quality.
